What this site processes
Readers can browse published work without signing in. Invited authors authenticate through the private Studio. Operational logs may be retained by the hosting provider for security and reliability.
Ratings
When ratings are enabled, the site accepts one current one-to-five-star rating per published post from a pseudonymous network-derived identifier. A server-side handler converts the platform-provided client address into a keyed cryptographic HMAC fingerprint and immediately discards the original address. The archive does not store, return, display, or log raw IP addresses, browser fingerprints, user agents, or precise location for ratings.
Rating rows are retained for up to 180 days unless an administrator resets them earlier. Shared networks, VPNs, privacy relays, and changing addresses can affect the one-rating behavior; this is abuse resistance, not perfect fraud prevention.
